Life is a continuous learning experience. At every point in life we have something new to learn. Throughout our lives, we keep rising and falling. In the journey of our life, we come to learn important lessons. There are many life lessons that we simply cannot learn until we face certain situations in our life. Furthermore, there are some lessons we learn while observing others.
Life itself is a lesson. It teaches us many things in many ways.I have also learned many things from my life. We always have to learn from our experiences instead of regretting and staying depressed.
The first lesson which i have learnt from my life is to be happy.
For me, the most important thing in life is to live it to the fullest. Most people will find it stupid, but the reality is many of us are just surviving.
Why are we putting so much efforts? What we will get at last? What will happen if we earn good? The answer to these questions is one, happiness.
Money is a need not life.Money can buy resources for your happiness but it can’t buy happiness.
Just do your best and find happiness in every small thing.Stop comparing yourselves to others.Everyone is unique in their own way.
Self love is also a most important aspect to remain happy always. If you will not love and respect your own self then no one will respect you. Be proud of yourself. When we are happy we keep spreading positivity. We keep others also happy. Love can dilute the feelings of jealousy, hatred and sorrow. So, to be happy self love is also very important. A happy person keeps a positive attitude towards life.
So, this is the first lesson which I have learnt from my life and I am experiencing and learning more.
My First Crush
SALMAN KHAN!!!!! YESSS, hearing this name gives me butterflies in my stomach.
I still remember in 1988, his first movie was released ‘ BIWI HO TO AISI ‘ in which he was in a supporting role. Seeing him in that movie gave me goosebumps. In 1989, his movie ‘ MAINE PYAR KIYA ‘ was released in which he was in the leading role. And after watching that movie, I became his die-hard fan.
At that time, we used to watch movies on VCR. My Chachu brought the cassette of ‘MAINE PYAR KIYA ‘ and I used to binge-watch it. But my mom didn’t liked my obsession with him.
But who could stop me. I started looking for opportunities for being alone at home, so that no one can disturb me.
I used to collect articles and pictures of Salman Khan from newspapers and magazines, hiding from everyone. But my younger brother was no less than my mom. He came to know about my collections and one day as soon as he got the opportunity, he tore all my collections in pieces. Knowing about this, I felt miserable.
I wrote a letter to one of my cousin, mentioning all that happened to me. After a few days, I received his reply. After opening the envelope, I was on cloud nine. He had posted me a lot of Salman’s photographs and articles. It was the best gift which I have ever got from anyone. Even today, I am so grateful to him. And this time I kept this collection in my locker.
Even till now, I try not to miss any of his movie. He always enthral the audience with his amazing movies.
I don’t think I will ever be able to get over him. He will always be my hero.
NEVER EVER GIVE UP
No matter how hard the situation is, do not give up ever. If we really want to succeed in achieving our goal then we have to try several times. If we give up then our life will be a waste. Self – belief is very important. We have to believe that we can do everything we want. We are the best. Giving up is just a waste. Then why do we give up? Everyone makes mistakes. But it does not mean we will never succeed. If we never quit and keep on trying, success will definitely come to us.
My First Journey By Air
It was the month of December. I was in grade 11th and my parents were planning a trip as the winter vacations were coming.
A very close friend of my dad called one evening and asked my dad ” how about visiting Kathmandu this vacation. Both of our families will enjoy a lot . I will book the tickets “. My dad said yes to him.
My dad gave us the trip details and we have to leave Delhi on 31st.
The day came and we reached the airport. After completing all the formalities, we got our boarding pass. We board a bus to the plane, climb the stairs and we were inside the plane.
I took the window seat for me, middle seat for my uncle’s daughter and my grandmother took the corner seat.
I was excited. So much excitement that my mind was flying high already.
Flight started and it was moving slowly. I was sitting peacefully thinking about how amazing this will going to be.
And whoooossshhhh. Speed suddenly increased and the flight went high in the sky. I have a problem of altitude sickness and it was at its high. All were sitting and chilling but i was feeling very uneasy. After few minutes, i felt better and then i looked down from the window. The view was breath-taking. The roads, buildings, garden, everything seemed like dots. Soon I was enjoying the air view. How beautiful it was.
After 30 minutes approximately, meals were provided by the air hostess. Lunch was quite good and tasty.
During the journey we were enjoying, reading and chatting with each other. Time just flew and very soon we reached Kathmandu. Landing was smooth.
Finally, we reached the airport. It was one of the most memorable experience of my life!!!!!!!!!!!
The One Who Suffers Knows The Pain!
It’s been more than a week since that horrible incident happened and a precious gem of our bollywood industry is no more between us. I am not able to think anything else except this only. It feels like a personal loss.
All the social media platforms have been filled with posts like, why didn’t he talked to his friends, family or anyone and shared his feelings? But think about it, what do you think he didn’t reached out to anyone? He must have did, many times. Only if one was not so busy in ignoring or calling him a psychotic, then they might have noticed.
I know that people are filling social media with things like talk to us, count on us. But do they really mean it? No. People are so fake, even if someone did try to talk to these same people, they ignore and avoid. They tell them that it’s nothing big and everyone faces them. This behaviour not only hurts them but also increases their problems or suffering. Why people treat someone so badly that they have to end their lives?
Everyone does face problems in their life but some people are stronger and handle them bravely. People should understand how someone is suffering and trying to reach out, but if you just keep on making comments about their problems rather than understanding them or will suppress them, do you even have any idea what will happen? Those thoughts and suffering would become so intense, that the person will want to end their life. Even a small loss or event can trigger that. So, it’s my humble request to everyone that, please stop pretending that you care. Mean it first. Posting on social media, won’t make you a real person. True friend is that who can help a person during their tough times, not someone who is only there during happiness.
Everyone should realise that calling someone a loser because he/she is anxious or in trouble, would not help, but make the problem worse.
It’s high time, we recognise the significance of mental health and start giving it more time and stay healthy and happy.
Sushant Singh Rajput, you left us too early. You were so talented and a down to earth person. You will always be missed. We have loved you and will always love you.
Sushant Singh Rajput……You will always be missed
To You, who left us so early.
You taught us how to wear the tag of loser with utmost pride, you taught us how life doesn’t end just because of failing in a test or a game and you taught us how to constantly be a better version of yourself. You had millions of heart who would glue their eyes to see your charming smile and sparkling eyes. You was a fine talent and a very happy person. You always kept your feet affixed to the ground. We have loved you and will always love you.
HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR RELATIONSHIPS BETTER
To maintain balance in every relationship sounds like impossible. We can’t make everyone happy. The moment we try to fulfill an expectation of somebody who is close to us or who is related to us, the next moment he or she starts expecting something else. There is no end to expectations. We have to understand that needs of a person can be fulfilled but desires or expectations can never be fulfilled. It is impossible to fulfill the expectation of everybody. Even we can’t fulfill a single person’s expectation.
Now we have to see the person who is close to us is demanding a materialistic need or unmaterialistic desire. Materialistic needs are..if a person demands house, car, etc. They can be fulfilled and unmaterialistic desires are like if a person says make me happy by your words then it can’t be fulfilled.
Expectations don’t let us live freely.Living with expectations turns us into weak people on an emotional level. Since we wait for things to happen just as we wish, we have to learn what is within our control and what is not.We cannot control the thoughts or the attitude of others. However, we can control the way we interact with it, how we think about and face it.
See every situation of life with a positive attitude. Never complain about anything. Expectations always lead to disappointments.
A simple example is.. I give a work target to myself for everyday. But daily some work is left to achieve that target. It means..If even I am not able to fulfill my own expectations then how can anyone else is able to fulfill my expectations.
It’s quite simple, if someone is not fulfilling your expectations, that doesn’t mean he or she doesn’t care for you.
So, rather than expecting, sharing and caring is good.
ALWAYS BE HAPPY!
It is important to be happy in every moment because when we are happy,we are able to think better, perform better and produce better results.Mostly people think that we have to be successful first then only we can be happy and enjoy our life. But it is totally opposite, when we are happy then only we will enjoy doing our work and success will definitely come to us.Happiness is a choice. When we choose to think happy thoughts we will become happy and when we are sad our happiness level goes down. Therefore, choose to be happy by focusing on the positive side of everything.
HARDWORK AND SUCCESS
Some people work very hard ,but the question is are they all successful. From our childhood we have always been listening, work hard to be successful. But no one says make your work interesting not hard. I like to play table tennis. I can play it for five hours straight. It is not a hard work for me, but for someone who doesn’t like to play table tennis, then it is a hard work for that person. I dont like cooking at all so when i cook i always feel cooking is a very hard work, but for those who loves cooking, then it is the most easy work for them to do.
My son wants to be an engineer. Since his childhood, he always loves playing with cars and their parts and now if i force him to become a CA just because someone in
our family is earning a lot by becoming a CA then doing CA will be a hard work for him and doing engineering will be his love. We have to do the work which we love to do then only we can be successful.
Then it will not be a hard work for us.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
It is important to believe in yourself because if you will not believe in yourself then nobody else will believe in you.
You must have confidence in your own abilities to get something done because if you don’t believe that you can do something, you are not going to give your full effort and without your full effort, your chances of successfully achieving your goal will get reduce.
As soon as people around you speak negative words, you stop believing in yourself.
People easily lose faith in themselves when they meet some failure and start to doubt themselves and their abilities when they come across failure. But a few failures are not the end. You must get back again. Believing in yourself can be difficult when you are facing a big goal. But when you break it down into bite size actions, it becomes so much easier.
Instead of having self-doubt in your abilities, start believing in yourself. The best way to reverse this negativity is to practice positive self talk. After waking up in the morning and before going to bed, simply stand in front of the mirror and begin to talk to yourself with positive words daily for two to five minutes. This practice will help you in building trust and confidence within you.
You will come across some people around you, who always have something negative to say about you and your goals. The less time you spend around these type of negative people, the less self-doubt you will struggle with and the more you will believe in yourself.
During the tough times, remind yourself of how you have gotten through tough times before. And you will soon start to fight back.
Ultimately, you are the only person that can truly believe in yourself, nobody else can.
